Today we are excited to build on our existing strategic relationship with Dell EMC by becoming part of Dell EMC's formal reseller program. This agreement allows joint customers to purchase Mesosphere DC/OS licenses, services and training directly from Dell EMC and its network of global reseller partners.
By collaborating with Mesosphere, Dell EMC customers can now orchestrate containerized applications and full suite of big data services for the enterprise between their on-premise and public cloud implementations, thus maximizing efficiencies, reducing cost and optimizing compute resources.
This means Dell EMC customers will now get access to easy one-click deployment and scaling of popular tools like Kubernetes, Apache Spark, Apache Cassandra, Elasticsearch, HDFS, Apache Kafka, Tensorflow, and more.
Powerful Collaboration
Mesosphere and Dell EMC have a history of collaborating on behalf of joint customers. Earlier this year, we delivered a reference architecture for deployment of DC/OS across Dell EMC compute and storage infrastructure and integrated REX-Ray, an open source container storage orchestration engine developed by {code} — Dell Technologies' open source organization — to manage storage from multiple platforms, in DC/OS.
This expanded partnership gives enterprises a unique hybrid cloud solution; allowing them to maintain control of valuable proprietary applications and data while still unlocking the full TCO potential of digital transformation.
